Yamaha Music

Whenever we install an audio / video system in a private home, chances are the Yamaha range of electronics is part of the package. And they're so versatile we increasingly use them in light commercial applications as well. 

We love Yamaha products for their reliability, durability and ease of use. Many components can be controlled by a free App on your mobile or tablet. When we install Yamaha products with MusicCast capability, they can be linked wirelessly throughout the home for multi-room audio. Plus, these products are built to last. Our New Zealand supplier has stocked the Yamaha range of electronics for over 30 years, and developed a world of knowledge to back up this brand.

Every home is different, so no one set up will fit them all. And we would never blindly recommend a system to you without seeing the space and defining your wishes first. But if the team had to dream up a heavenly theatre and multi-room audio scenario, it would look something like this:

• In the lounge, we would match up the Yamaha RXA2080 Dolby Atmos home theatre receiver with the Speakercraft Profile aim 8 five directional in ceiling speakers and an active Yamaha NSSW300 250-watt subwoofer. To complete the audio, we would install four SpeakerCraft Profile LCR3 five in-wall heights speakers to give a full Dolby Atmos theatre experience.
• For the kitchen, we would then match this with a pair of Yamaha MusicCast 20 powered speakers, casting tunes from Spotify.
• In the courtyard, we would install a pair of Speakercraft Profile CRS6 one recessed speakers in the eaves area, driven by a Yamaha WXA50 MusicCast amplifier.
• And to complete the package, the den would get a pair of Yamaha MusicCast 50 powered speakers for a full rich sound, and we would have the Yamaha TT503 MusicCast turntable send the sound wirelessly through to these speakers.
